I believe this sharing exhibition is scheduled at the Childers Art Space in Bundaberg, Queensland in August 2013. I'll have to check my contract to make sure. Meanwhile there are four artists from New Mexico via the Unsettled Art Gallery in Las Cruces, who have been invited to exhibit. We will each have four pieces, two for Australia and two for the NM gallery. The work needs to be about the place you live. NM for me. Not easy, as I am not a 'regional' artist. So far, I have 3 finished but for mounting and 1 to go....partially finished on my studio wall as I type. They are small images on paper...11"x 11" then I will mount each on approx 14"x 16" paper. These are pictures from 'my' area in the Las Cruces Museum of Fine Art invitational exhibition: Elemental: New Mexico.... I am extremely please with the hanging of the work, thanks to Joy Miller, the curator. I am also honored to be exhibiting with the five other artists from New Mexico that Ms. Miller invited. It's a fabulous show and I hope it is well attended and written about. February-early April 2013. Make the journey.
