My fellow artist pal, Carey Crane, will be exhibiting for the first time at RioBravoFineArt and I am also excited for him and know he will have a swell reception to his mostly abstracted work. His work and mine are different in that his is much more texturally and imagery wise complicated than mine. But, we both have our sensitivities and energies and they somehow compliment each other. We will both be showing lots of work, in separate areas of the gallery.
This exhibition opens on April 12th and runs through May 25th. I am excited to be showing the work from the last year and a half. HOME BASE represents just what it implies...my home and my base. Location. Heart. Mind. The work, which you can see in the LATEST WORK section of my site, ranges from somewhat representational to totally abstract. Hope you'll find time to check it out. I'll put pictures up as soon as the show is hung.

Below are the five Repetitive Print paintings I have at the new and improved Conrad Wilde Gallery in Tucson, AZ. I was thrilled to be invited to exhibit in this gallery. Miles Conrad has selected good artists and I'm hoping my work will resonate with his clientele. If you are ever in Tucson, find the gallery, in a renovated historical warehouse. The first painting is THREAD THE LIGHT. Then, SAIL ON SAIL ON SAIL ON. Then GARDEN DIVAS. Then DANCE THE DESERT. Finally BE MY WINTER. Love these circles and dots, I do!
