As the snow slowly melts here in nowhere, New Mexico, I am in the warm house rather than the freezing studio and painting 'snow' on paper. Each is 22x30" and I'm happy to say one of them is already spoken for. Thank you, sir.

Next comes MY SUN EVERY MORNING. On this piece I have written about it: " The day began with a Payne's Grey sky and snow falling. My thoughts turned red to make a change in my day. Soon, the sun came out and I was, once again, happy with the melting snow." 22x30" acrylic and graphite on paper

Lastly (so far) is the first one painted: WEST COUNTRY SONG. 22x30" acrylic, crayon, ink on paper.

We are having our first snow of the season here in nowhere, New Mexico. It's cold and I'm staying warm in the house and painting some pieces on paper. This one, WEST COUNTRY SONG (thanks to Edna St. Vincent Millay for the title), is 22x30" and acrylic, ink, crayon and graphite on paper. It's our day. Today. And probably tomorrow. I am waiting for the sun (California native that I am).

I have begun to put up a number of pieces from our art collection onto my eBay site. Pieces include Sol LeWitt, Jim Wagner, Fritz Scholder (though waiting on a counter offer on that piece), David Farrell, David Koch, and more. Fun and wonderful pieces that we have enjoyed for many years. Time to downsize our lives and collection. In most cases we are asking the same as we paid or just a bit more.
