Whoa! A blog…it’s been ages but I’m still here in nowhere, New Mexico at work in the studio. This year has mainly been taken up with getting OLD work ready for a retrospective I am having
at RioBravoFineArt Gallery in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. Opens Sat., October 14th and ends November 26th.
This exhibition will have a lot of work in it, framed and unframed. The oldest painting is approx 37 years old. CHAVITA ON A GALISTEO STARRY NIGHT. 40x40, acrylic on canvas. Can be had for nearly a song. I am pricing these old works very low because I am desperate for storage space for newer work. With my husband being a sculptor we are out of space to store our masterpieces and we have a lot of them! So prices are ridiculously low. Example: 72x60” painting will retail for $800. The highest price in my show is $800. and the lowest, $100. So, if ever you wanted one of my pieces but the price was prohibitive, NOW’S THE TIME. Lay away at the gallery is ok, too.
Here are just a few of the many pieces I will be showing. And, lo and behold, alas and alack, today I pre-sold a piece to a visitor. Happy day.
