I recently sent you a blog regarding my retrospective: I LIKE YOUR OLD WORK BEST opening at RioBravoFineArt Gallery in Truth or Consequences, NM on October 14th (though the show and the one I'm blogging about now are both up and ready to view and purchase).
This is to tell you that I was asked by the gallery owner if I'd be interested in curating a Las Cruces artist's exhibition. I immediately agreed. I have selected only 9 of the many fine artists in that city to the south but that is only because space was a factor. My reasons for selecting these 9 had nothing to do with any theme other than to show nine professional artists whose work I admire. A lot.
This show: THE LAS CRUCES 9 runs now until Nov. 26th (same as my retro) and I hope you will join all of us at the opening reception on Oct. 14th, Sat. from 6-9pm at the monthly Art Hop in TorC....lots of galleries to see if you desire. But be SURE and spend a lot of time with us at our openings. Ask questions of us.
